Ozurdex
Ozurdex is an injectable implant of a steroid known as dexamethasone. It is FDA approved for the treatment of macular edema resulting from branch retinal vein occlusions, central retinal vein occlusions, and diabetic macular edema. It is also approved for the treatment of noninfectious inflammation (uveitis) affecting the posterior segment of the eye. Ask your retina provider whether this is a good option for you.
